Ariel Singer, MPH

Ariel is a human-centered healthcare educator, change facilitator, and advocate.  She is the founder and principal consultant for Waterwheel Health Consulting. As a motivational interviewing expert and system transformation leader, she has partnered with hundreds of individuals and organizations around the country to co-create and implement shared goals and action plans for health improvement. 

Ariel is a seasoned capacity builder with many years of experience leading technical assistance and training programs for community health. She has extensive experience working with federally qualified health centers, community behavioral health centers, and healthcare associations.

Genevieve Walker, PhD

Genevieve Walker is a freelance health content writer and editor who helps clients bridge the gap between their knowledge and the needs of the patients, families, caregivers, and members of the public they serve. She also provides:

  • Content for health care providers and staff

  • Consulting on plain language, health literacy and inclusive language issues

  • Editorial services, including manuscript editing and plain language editing

Charyl Looper

Charyl is a highly skilled design strategist with over 25 years of experience visualizing complex processes and systems, crafting service design tools with purposeful storytelling, and creating strategic programs at the enterprise level. She utilizes person-centered design and visual thinking techniques to support healthy culture across all organizations. Charyl believes:

  • Focusing on the beliefs, cultural practices, and needs of individuals forges a path toward powerful partnership

  • Collaboration is one of the most effective ways to create buy-in and positive change
